Job Overview
Men & Women United for Youth & Families is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven, and experienced Program Director to lead the day-to-day execution of our programs. The Program Director will be responsible for ensuring that all MWUYF programs are implemented with excellence, consistency, and accountability.
This position will oversee program staff, case managers, and facilitators while ensuring that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals, funder expectations, and community needs. The Program Director will also be responsible for developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, monitoring program outcomes, improving systems, and supporting strong staff performance.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage multiple programs, support staff, track outcomes, solve problems, and help strengthen the overall impact of the organization.
Duties
- Oversee the daily implementation of all MWUYF programs, including youth development, workforce development, food access, family support, and other community-based initiatives.
- Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and with quality.
- Supervise program staff, case managers, facilitators, and other assigned team members.
- Provide coaching, training, support, and performance management for program staff.
- Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for programs and services.
- Ensure staff follow SOPs, program standards, organizational policies, and funder requirements.
- Monitor program outcomes, data, performance metrics, and participant progress.
- Identify program gaps, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Implement improvements that strengthen program quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Ensure consistency across all program sites, services, and staff teams.
- Track and report program outputs, outcomes, and impact.
- Prepare regular program updates for the Executive Director and Associate Director.
- Support the Executive Director in demonstrating program impact to funders, partners, and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Associate Director to ensure programs align with organizational operations.
- Maintain accurate records related to program activities, participant services, staff performance, and outcomes.
- Participate in leadership meetings, planning sessions, program evaluations, and organizational improvement efforts.
- Represent MWUYF professionally with participants, families, partners, funders, and community stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5 to 8 or more years of program management experience preferred.
- Experience supervising staff, managing teams, and leading program operations.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and execution skills.
- Experience in youth development, workforce development, food systems, nonprofit management, case management, or community-based programs preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple programs, deadlines, priorities, and staff responsibilities.
- Experience developing systems, policies, procedures, workflows, or Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to track outcomes, review data, and use information to improve program performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations, families, youth, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coach, train, support, and hold staff accountable.
- Experience with grant-funded programs and funder reporting preferred.

Pay: $56,160.00 - $62,400.00 per year
