What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant/ Nurse practitioner position at Men's Wellness of North Alabama?
Men's Wellness of North Alabama is a physician-led, direct-pay practice focused on hormone optimization, men's health, and (newly) primary care. Because we're a direct-pay clinic and don't bill insurance, we've built something most clinicians rarely get: the freedom to practice good medicine and more time with your patients than you've likely ever had in your career. No rushed 10-minute visits, no insurance hoops — just real continuity and care done right.
We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) who wants meaningful, relationship-driven work in a collegial, well-run clinic.
The Role
- Manage an established panel of men's health and hormone optimization patients
- Conduct evaluations, order and interpret labs, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with our Medical Director and provider team
- Help shape our growing primary care program
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time, 1–2 days per week, with a clear path to full-time as we grow
- $47–$60/hour; your starting rate reflects your relevant experience
- Raises are awarded based on competency, experience, and performance
- Bonus: free healthcare for services provided within the clinic
- Note: part-time positions are not benefits-eligible

What We're Looking For
- Active, unrestricted Alabama NP or PA license (or eligibility), in good standing
- DEA registration (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient communication
- Interest or experience in hormone optimization, men's health, or primary care is a plus, but we're glad to train the right person
- A team player who takes ownership and represents the practice well
