Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Master Tailor to lead garment fittings, alterations, and finishing with the highest level of craftsmanship. This role is ideal for a tailor who understands not only construction, but also fit, posture, proportion, and presence. You will work directly with leadership and clients to ensure every garment meets our standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute expert-level alterations on bespoke and made-to-measure garments, including suits, jackets, trousers, shirts, and outerwear
- Lead client fittings and provide professional recommendations on fit, balance, and garment refinement
- Diagnose complex fit issues and implement precise corrections
- Ensure consistency and quality across all finished garments before client delivery
- Collaborate closely with sales consultants, pattern makers, and leadership
- Maintain tailoring equipment, workroom organization, and quality standards
- Uphold discretion, professionalism, and a refined client experience at all times
Qualifications
- 7 years of professional tailoring experience (bespoke or high-end MTM required)
- Mastery of men’s tailoring techniques, including handwork and machine work
- Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern adjustments, and fabric behavior
- Experience working directly with high-net-worth or luxury clients
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Experience
- European or Savile Row–style tailoring background
- Experience in luxury retail or private showroom environments
- Knowledge of luxury fabrics, mills, and garment finishing standards
