Server/Cashier

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Process cash, credit card, and digital transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Manage reservations and guest relations using platforms like OpenTable to optimize seating flow
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area that adheres to food safety regulations
• Demonstrate knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation to educate guests and recommend pairings
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive relationships

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively and build guest loyalty
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while managing sales transactions efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for billing accuracy and inventory management
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a vibrant hospitality setting
