What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Packaging Associate position at Memphis Record Pressing?
Job Summary:
The Packaging Associate is responsible for the final step in preparing vinyl for shipping to the customer.
This position packages vinyl records and includes any other packaging components associated with the
vinyl record and required by the customer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
● Perform visual quality assurance of the vinyl record for flaws prior to packaging
● Sleeve vinyl records
● Assemble records and other components, (inserts, download cards, stickers) into record jackets
● Pack and palletize finished product
● Clean and maintain work area
● Monitor inventory of packaging supplies
● Maintain a positive relationship with employees and visitors
● Complies with all safety and health regulations
● Trains other associates as needed/requested
● Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
● Must possess a positive “can do” attitude
● Ability to manage time efficiently
● Ability to lift at least 45 pounds
● Attentive to detail
● Excellent interpersonal skills
● Ability to follow instructions/schedules to carry out assignments
● Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and visitors
● Ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of
measurement

Education and Experience:
Prior experience in a in a Packaging, Warehousing or Shipping environment
