Role Description
Memphis College Prep Elementary is seeking a full-time, on-site Math Teacher for its location in Memphis, TN. The Math Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and effective math lessons, aligned with the school's curriculum standards. Additional duties include assessing student progress, planning differentiated instruction, collaborating with colleagues, and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages academic growth and character development.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Mathematics Education
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Certified or Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching credentials
- Excellent classroom management and instructional skills
- Commitment to fostering academic growth and equitable education
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
- Experience working in diverse and underserved communities is an advantage
