Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Sales Member to join our Memory Shop Cambridge Or Newbury location at 34 JFK Street/230 newbury st. This position is specifically for school breaks evening shifts. 4-8(newbury) and 4-9(harvard) with the opportunity to substitute for other shifts as needed.
The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging with customers, maintaining photobooth operations, and contributing to a fun and welcoming environment. As a Sales Member, you will be responsible for assisting customers, converting sales, keeping our photobooths stocked and clean, and ensuring smooth operations during our busiest hours.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and guiding them through the photobooth experience.
- Use sales techniques and marketing scripts to convert inquiries into sales.
- Ensure photobooths and studios are kept clean and well-maintained.
- Restock printers with photo paper to prevent downtime.
- Offer accurate and helpful information about Memory Shop products and services.
- Address and resolve customer questions or complaints promptly.
- Track sales performance and share feedback on strategies.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure smooth store operations.
- Support event setups and special activations when required.
- Follow the Operations Manual and uphold Memory Shop brand standards.
Requirements
- Availability to work weekend evening shifts; flexibility to cover weekday shifts as a substitute.
- Previous experience in retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable handling cash, POS systems, and basic sales tracking.
- Ability to keep up with a busy environment and solve problems quickly.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during late-night shifts.
- A positive, outgoing personality with a passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
