Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate All Shift Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide exceptional support and care to our clients across various shifts. This role is vital in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized assistance. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including overnight, evening, and weekend shifts, to accommodate different availability needs. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to client well-being, excellent communication skills, and a caring attitude.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients during assigned shifts
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Administer medication reminders in accordance with care plans
- Document care provided accurately in client records
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure client and staff safety
Experience
- Prior experience in personal care, home health, or caregiving is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are a plus for certain assignments
- Ability to pass background checks and meet health screening requirements
