Job Summary And Qualifications
Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Major Responsibilities:

Accountabilities
Identification of patient problems and determination of nursing interventions, to include biopsychosocial and educational needs.
Recognition of changes in patients' conditions and initiation of appropriate action.
Prompt assessment of patient upon return from PACU and/or diagnostic procedure and documentation of findings.
Providing safe nursing care and a safe environment for patients/families.
Making patient rounds.
Establishing patient's plan of care based on medical/nursing diagnosis and admission profile.
Initiates nursing orders for the comfort and well-being of the patient. (Ex: oral care, turning, positioning, etc.)
Transcribes and implements physician orders and documents all patient-related information.
Administers medication accurately and safely within the guidelines.
Administers IV fluids accurately and safely within nursing guidelines.
Provides supports by:
Promoting consistent positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service
Practicing and adhering to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
Performing other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
1 year(s) of experience in Nursing
Preferred
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Licenses, Certifications, & Training:
Registered Nurse - Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which
he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation or, compact state
Or
Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
Neonate Resuscitate – required within six months of employment
