Qualifications
Required Preferred
☒ ☐ Current and active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license.
☒ ☐ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire).
☒ ☐ Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (be obtained
within six (6) months of hire).
☒ ☐ Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENCP) certification (or be obtained within one (1) year of hire.)
☐ ☒ Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience

☐ ☒ Two (2) years of hospital nursing experience.
☐ ☒ Previous Med/Surg experience

- Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and
- Identifies barriers to effective communication based on psychosocial, literacy, financial, and cultural considerations.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture,
- Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for positions requiring driving, with a valid driver’s license).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
- Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
