What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric OT | Speech and Pediatrics position at Memorial Medical Group?
We are looking for someone to join our Speech and Pediatric Team as a Pediatric OT!
What You'll Do:
- Evaluate and assess patients to determine functional abilities, developmental needs, and therapy goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, play, and school-related skills.
- Utilize appropriate therapeutic interventions and adaptive equipment to enhance independence and participation.
- Educate and support families, caregivers, and teachers in strategies to promote skill development and carryover of therapy goals at home and in the community.
- Collaborate with other healthcare and educational professionals to ensure coordinated care and goal alignment.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with department policies, payer requirements, and professional standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to all organizational, ethical, and legal standards governing occupational therapy practice.

What You'll Bring/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
