Position Overview:
We are seeking a warm, organized, and mission-driven professional to serve as our Director of Admissions. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our school, guiding prospective families through every step of the enrollment journey—from initial inquiry to new student onboarding. You will also play a key role in building relationships with community partners and executing our recruitment strategy in tandem with the Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all prospective families, managing inquiries via phone, email, and web forms
- Schedule and conduct campus tours for prospective families (Infant through Pre-K) and coordinate tours with the Headmaster for grades K-12
- Manage the full admissions cycle including applications, assessments, committee review, and enrollment decisions
- Build and maintain relationships with local preschools, churches, and community organizations as feeder sources
- Represent the school at community events, homeschool fairs, and church presentations
- Manage the enrollment process within our Student Information System (FACTS/RenWeb), including re-enrollment and year-end rollover
- Generate regular enrollment reports for the Headmaster and School Board
- Host New Family Orientation and coordinate with the PTL to welcome new families into the community
Qualifications:
- 3 years of office experience, preferably within a private or Christian school setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Student Information Systems (FACTS/RenWeb preferred)
- A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- A commitment to the mission and values of classical Lutheran education
