JOB SUMMARY
- The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the success of multiple information technology functional areas. Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, coordination, and operational direction of assigned information technology systems. Coordinates the integration of data, information, and communications systems and serves as the catalyst for new systems development. Provides management, direction and leadership in several functional IT areas such as applications development, computer operations, networking, technical support, or systems administration. Is responsible for the integrity and security of all assigned computer systems technologies.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
  - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field (required).
  - Master’s degree in Information Management or Business Administration (preferred).
  - 3 years prior experience managing a medium IT department (required).
  - Experience managing an IT department in the healthcare field (preferred).
- Job Knowledge and Skills:
  - Possess expert knowledge in fields of networking, security, server hardware, and applications.
  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  - Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management.
  - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  - Excellent analytical and management skills.
  - Excellent interpersonal skills.
  - Through understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company’s goals.
