Description
The Laboratory Receptionist/Phlebotomist receives patients and prepares the necessary paperwork for specimen processing. This position draws blood specimens, tests blood samples, maintains equipment, prepares specimens for shipment, generates lab reports, prepares patient charges, and provides necessary information for patient billing.
Qualifications
Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D. and complete CPR certification within 30 days of employment. Certified phlebotomist with medical terminology and phlebotomy experience preferred.
