Description
This position works under the supervision of the Ambulance Director/Supervisor and provides admissions, and patient care functions in the field and hospital setting. The Emergency Room Technician/Paramedic must be able to function as part of a team in the ER setting with other Medics, Nurses and Physicians. The Emergency Room Technician/Paramedic while in the hospital setting with specialized training and the approval of the EMS Director/Supervisor and Medical Director must perform other procedures as necessary for patient care in the ER. Must have a clean driving record and be of the age determined by Memorial Hospital of Carbon County vehicle insurance company. High school diploma or equivalent, must maintain current Wyoming Paramedic certification, current BLS and must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire.
