What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Abstractor position at Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center?
Key Responsibilities:
- Manually abstract and enter clinical data from Memorial’s Epic system into Deaconess’ Epic environment.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of patient records, including historical and encounter-level data.
- Navigate Epic outpatient nursing navigators to locate and transfer relevant clinical information.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and organizational data privacy standards.
- Meet project timelines and productivity expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience navigating Epic
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with data abstraction or EHR transitions is a plus.
