What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist - Full Time position at Memorial Hospital - Chester, IL?

Currently we are looking for a full-time staff member to work 40 hours a week as a Phlebotomist. This position will have rotating weekend shifts, so it could work very well with a college schedule.
Position will primarily consist of phlebotomy coverage, clerical work in the outpatient lab along with assisting with in-patient and ER draws, off-site care facilities and clerical duties including; verification of physicians, reference lab reports, pathology reports and drug screen files.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy Certificate preferred.
- Vaccinations per IDPH, CDC, CMS and hospital policy.
- Must be able to communicate well, good hearing for phone duties, computer/typing skills and capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to move about through the day for patient care.
- Excellent pay and earn more for clinical experience.
- Health Insurance for under $20.00 a month. (Employee only Wellness H.S.A. Plan).
- Earn PTO per hour you work at a rate of .085/hr up to 3.4 hours a week.
- Retirement Contribution of 5% and additional match program.
