We are now accepting applications for a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team in our Rural Health Convenient Care Clinic.

This position offers a 4-day work week with 10 hour shifts, excellent pay and benefits, and additional compensation based on your experience!

Position: Convenient Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Status: Full-Time
Location: Rural Health Convenient Care Clinic
Schedule: 4 Days/Week (10-11 Hour Shifts)

Job Summary:

The Convenient Care LPN provides compassionate, high-quality care within the scope of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act in an outpatient clinical setting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Patient Care & Assessment:
  Record vitals, collect specimens, review medications, perform urinary catheterizations, assist with forms and referrals, and order outpatient testing and equipment.

• Medication Administration:
  Administer medications and immunizations under provider direction; process electronic prescriptions.

• Patient Education:
  Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and treatment plans.

• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

• Collaboration:
  Work closely with providers and care team members; advocate for patients.

• Lab & Office Testing:
  Perform waived lab tests, collect and process specimens, conduct EKGs, vision tests, urinalysis, and other basic diagnostics.

• Administrative Support:
  Provide assistance at the front desk when needed due to staffing shortages.

• Facility Cleanliness:
  Maintain clean and sanitized treatment areas and equipment.

• Other assigned tasks by RHC Director.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical/Vocational Nursing program

• Licensure: Current Illinois LPN license

• Certification: CPR/AED or BLS (current)

• Training: Must complete all mandatory training as required by the organization

• Experience: LPN experience in a Convenient Care or similar outpatient setting required
