Job Summary:
Maintains registry database according to American College of Surgeons (ACOS) and MUG standards, policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Education : High school diploma or GED and medical terminology. Completion of at least one year of basic college level courses including Anatomy and Physiology.
Licensure : Certification in Tumor Registry (CTR).
Experience : Two (2) years of experience working in a Cancer Registry.
- Collects, analyzes, and reports data specific to physician productivity, practice revenue, quality, expenses, and other measurable components
- Generates and updates production reports for all employed and Physician Service Agreement (PSA) providers
- Utilizes reporting applications to build standard and ad-hoc reports, and manipulates compiled data to create meaningful information
- Maintains provider productivity reports and data, based on the prescribed physician fee schedule and distributes as necessary to leadership and billing office for review and auditing purposes
- Compiles client tier billing encounters and procedures, for monthly reconciliation and final distribution to respective leadership
- Track and maintain advanced practice providers' supervising physicians for Relative Value Units (RVU) association by specialty
- Maintains pay component calculations for all providers to ensure adherence to pay models
- Maintains and validates provider employment agreements; calculates compensation adjustments for approval and processing
- Serves as a liaison with collaborating departments throughout the hiring and onboarding processes to validate provider agreements and executed amendments
- Ensures compensation is in line with organizational pay models; completes calculations for all employed physicians, to include quality, customer service and other measurable components
- Submits base compensation adjustment and additional payments to area leadership for approval and communication to the providers
- Verifies that provider compensation complies with employment agreements, established pay models, and approved survey data
