Job Summary Position is responsible for providing competent perioperative patient care through the use of equipment and instrumentation. Position functions as scrub assistant to the physician performing operative and/or invasive procedures. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and as outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory. Job Description Learn more about our $10K Sign-On Bonus! Certified Surgical Technologist, Neuro OR, Nights *Full time; 7pm-7am, Wednesday - Friday *CST and BLS required This position is located at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center (Sarofim Pavilion). Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program Licenses/Certifications: Certified in Basic Life Support; and Current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Experience / Knowledge / Skills: New Grad <1 year Surg Tech I =1 year Surg Tech II = 2-4 years Surg Tech III = 5 years Demonstrates commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process by integrating our culture in all internal and external customer interactions; delivers on our brand promise of “Advancing health.
