Compensation: Based on Experience
DEFINITION:
Reports directly to the Manager of Patient Access Services, Trainer Supports and provides training in systems and processes for Business Services and Patient Access. Develops documentation and training materials, and provides training and support to client areas for Registration, Facility and Physician Billing. Performs testing and system analysis to help develop ways to improve the billing system. Composes detailed written coursework that summarizes and explains key concepts. Creates and edits screen shots. Designs and developments content for teaching, training, educational, or presentation purposes.
EDUCATION:
Experience with training in a clinical environment or other health-care setting is preferred.
Experience with computer technology, software documentation tools, and software systems commonly found in healthcare environments (e.g., personal computer skills, spreadsheets, patient record systems, and software interfaces from outside sources).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1year of medical billing or office experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Effective communicator (good written, verbal, and nonverbal skills).
High level of expertise and utilization of healthcare and training publication applications.
Organized in material, thought, action and delivery of material with existing knowledge of subject matter.
Develop, recommends and implements effective training/methodologies, which ensures efficient utilization of systems.
Effective decision making and analytical skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, as individual and team player.
