Description
Monday- Friday Day-Shift Opportunity, with hours between 8 am-5 pm. This role will split time between infusion and the outpatient clinic setting.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver exceptional patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, reflecting best practices and compliance with hospital standards.
- Educate patients and their families with clear, timely, and supportive health information, complemented by written resources.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nursing care and service delivery.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, including outside standard working hours.
- Maintain required certifications and attend mandatory education and in-service programs.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure in the State of Ohio
- ACLS certification required
- Commitment to continuous learning, including 24 hours of approved CE every two years (per Ohio Board of Nursing requirements).
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification (mandatory).
- Certification in chemotherapy and biotherapy (if applicable) obtained within six months of hire.
- Strong commitment to professional accountability, performance improvement, and adherence to hospital ethics and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
