We are looking for a Referral Coordinator with strong customer service skills to join our fast-pace team at Scottslawn! This is a Monday-Friday Opportunity and would be scheduled to work between the hours of 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday and you will be paid and off for the 6 major holidays.

Monday-Friday Opportunity
We are looking for a Referral Coordinator with strong customer service skills to join our fast-pace team at Scottslawn! This is a Monday-Friday Opportunity and would be scheduled to work between the hours of 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday and you will be paid and off for the 6 major holidays.
What You'll Do
- Completes requested forms for Medicare, the Department of Health, Social Services, Insurance, and specialty offices. Processes and obtains accurate requested information ensuring proper release or request of medical records according to Federal/State/HIPAA guidelines. Updates computer system, keeping records accurate, to reflect any changes when releasing patient information. Inputs all medical reports including PKU’s, labs, correspondence, on call dictation, etc., in proper order following office guidelines.
- Schedules consultation and diagnostic appointments for patients per the provider/assistants request and documents necessary information. Verify insurance benefits then authorization for appointments, if necessary.
- Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls. Answers questions regarding patient appointments and testing.
- Contact patients to provide appointment date, time, location and preparation information for appointment, if appropriate. Answers questions regarding patient appointments and testing.
- Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Memorial Medical Group Ethics and Compliance program and is responsible to detect, observe and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, or upward through the chain of command, the Compliance Officer

- High school diploma or equivalent; one year experience in customer service or reception, preferably in a health care environment.
