What are the responsibilities and job description for the CONCRETE QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR WITH ACI CERTIFICATION position at Memco?
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Concrete Quality Control Tech with ACI Certification to join our team. The QC Tech will be responsible for examining products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.
2. Identify and document any non-conforming items and work with the production team to address and resolve quality issues.
3. Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to verify compliance with quality procedures and guidelines.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results and provide reports to management as needed.
5. Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have ACI certification for placement in job
- Proven experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately document and communicate inspection results.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to quality improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
