MEMCO is hiring Concrete Finishers in Eastover, SC!
- Full-Time
- Sched: M-F 7am-3:30pm
- ASAP Start!
- Pay Rate: $22-27/hr.
Finisher Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Place, pour, and finish concrete on commercial and government job sites.
- Smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools.
- Assist with large concrete pours, working closely with the crew and supervisors.
- Set grade and place rebar, embeds, and reinforcement as required by plans.
- Make sure all forms and finished concrete are level, straight, and properly aligned.
- Check work quality before, during, and after concrete pours.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety rules at all times.
- Work as a team with foremen, superintendents, and crew members to complete tasks safely and on schedule.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe.
- Report safety concerns, damaged tools, or site issues immediately.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in concrete work (commercial or government projects preferred).
- Experience with pouring, finishing, and forming concrete.
- Able to complete quality work with minimal supervision.
- Physically able to perform construction duties, including lifting 50 pounds, standing for long periods, bending, and working outdoors.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded on the job.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
