JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title Lab Technician
Location St. Peters, Missouri
You will be scheduled to work the C shift which will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday from 6:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Training (up to 6 months) will take place on the A shift which will be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday from 6:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Lab Technician: Performs functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks and carrying out rework and quality assurance procedures related to production or operations. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures for quality assurance and control. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
Ancillary Job Functions
· Prepare test samples involving cleaning, prepared solutions, cleaving, furnace,and analysis
· Analyze samples using one or more techniques including ICPMS – Plasma Mass Spectrometer,
· SRP – Spreading Resistance Profile
· SPV – Electro-Optical Characterization techniques
· AFM – Atomic Forced Microscope
· Train on other lab processes is a requirement.
· Enter data into spreadsheets
· Respond to out-of-control signals for lab metrology (SPC)
· Perform or assist with preventative maintenance and calibrations as required by facilities/equipment
· Conduct or receive training to increase lab resource flexibility
· Assist with development or improvement of test methods by conducting MSA studies, document/revise procedures
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
· Applies technical skills to perform laboratory testing and analysis for SOI. Assist lab supervision with sustaining, developing, and improving testing processes, procedures and equipment in a 24 hour / 7 days operation environment.
· Work with internal engineering, with products to support Silicon On Insulator (SOI Manufacturing)
Required Qualifications
· Attention to detail.

· Lab experience (school or work).

. Cleanroom experience.

· Providing support for manufacturing services.
· Fine motor skills required to prepared solution and cleaning labware

· Cleanroom lab environment
· Exposed to moderate noise level.
· Working with hazard acids
