What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Teller position at MembersFirst CT Federal Credit Union?
1. Provide account services to members by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing cash withdrawals, issuing and recording bank checks and money orders and recording and processing night drop and mail transactions.
2. Ability to accurately handle cash in a speedy manner when dealing with members and balancing cash before and after use.
3. Receive and record visa payments and administer cash advances.
4. Answer questions in person or on the phone and refer members to other service departments as necessary.
5. Cross selling credit union products and services and participating in monthly sales and referrals incentive program.
6. Assist with labeling coin and currency bags.
7. Assist with servicing coin machine.
8. Identifying fraudulent checks or cash & reporting suspicious activity.
9. Maintain organized teller stations and work space.
10. Contribute to daily tasks of opening and closing the branch.
11. Balancing cash and check drawer daily.
12. Completing required monthly training assignments and/or webinars.
13. Comply and follow Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
14. Ensure the security of all transactions and adhere to credit union policies and procedures.
15. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to listen and comprehend instructions being given.
16. Other duties as required.
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
