Summary/Objective
The Escrow & Cash Processing Specialist 1 is responsible for performing day-to-day duties within the servicing department. Provide professional service to our members, partners, and co-workers. Proactively uphold MMS’s Mission Statement. May assist in the areas indicated listed below.
Essential Functions May Include

- Process member payments and post to the appropriate accounts. Research and provide responses to payment questions or issues.
- Assumes responsibility for paying of escrow: private mortgage insurance (PMI), county property taxes, hazard insurance, and flood insurance.
- Assist members with the PMI cancellation process
- Verifying borrower-paid taxes and insurance. Impounding for escrow and force placing insurance where needed.
- Process mortgage releases.
- Assist as needed with annual escrow analysis.
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service via the phone, email, and web messaging.
- Processes verifications and payoffs as requested.
- Perform other special projects and assignments as required or assigned.

Required Education and Experience
- Equivalent to a high school education.
- No experience necessary.
