Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Shipping Packer performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of inventory and storage procedures.
Key Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of experience working in a Federal, DoD, or commercial warehouse/ inventory setting. Must possess sound judgment, foresight, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer email and word processing skills are required. Possess excellent oral and written communications skills; fluency in spoken and written English. Demonstrated strong customer service skills. Ability to adapt to fast-paced work/office environment with accuracy. Must possess or be able to maintain a Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities
- Verifies materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and various damages.
- Delivers and retrieves material from the loading dock.
- Routes material to assigned storage locations.
- Stores materials in accordance with storage procedures.
- Removes material from storage and prepares them for shipment; reporting deterioration and damage according to the procedure.
- Completes tasks to accomplish all warehouse operations as assigned by the Site Supervisor.
- Competes in data entry and maintains a database of inventory records associated with warehouse operations.
- Performs inventories and updates inventory records and system to accurately reflect shipment and receipts.
- Verifies incoming shipments by comparing invoice manifest, storage receipts, or other records.
- Checks for damaged goods, ensuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments.
- Prepares and keeps records of goods received.
- Inform the responsible company of shipments received.
- Other duties as assigned.
