Responsibilities
- Floor care: Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors in dining areas, kitchens, and other spaces.
- Surface sanitation: Clean and sanitize countertops, tables, high-touch areas, and equipment to meet health codes.
- Waste disposal: Empty trash cans and manage recycling throughout the establishment.
- Restroom maintenance: Keep all restrooms clean, stocked with supplies, and well-maintained.
- General cleaning: Dust furniture and fixtures, clean windows and mirrors, and clean ceiling vents.
- Restocking: Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and other consumables as needed.
- Deep cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks on a weekly or monthly basis, such as scrubbing floors, cleaning walls, or cleaning hood vents.
- Maintenance reporting: Report any maintenance issues, needed repairs, or low inventory to a supervisor.
- Safety adherence: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols and procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals.
