Melody Music Co-op is hiring a piano teacher to work with our youngest students, ages 4-8. This role is ideal for someone who’s a strong pianist and genuinely enjoys working with young kids. Technical mastery isn’t the main bar here, connection with children is.
Pay: $30-$40 per 30-minute lesson (approx. $60-80/hour teaching equivalent), based on experience. Part-time, with training and support provided.
What we’re looking for
- Availability on weekday afternoons and evenings
- Solid piano fundamentals. You’re comfortable and confident with the instrument (concert-level not required)
- Real experience or aptitude working with young children: patience, warmth, and engagement
- Reliable transportation for in-home lessons
