Schedule and Salary Information
- Full-time, Monday – Friday
- 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
- High School Diploma required, Associate’s Degree in Education, Human Services, or Psychology preferred
- Valid US driver’s license and must be at least 21 years old
- Meet Massachusetts CORI background check requirements
- Successful completion of employer-provided certification in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, and Melmark’s Orientation Program
- At least 1 year of experience with specialized populations preferred
- Provide vocational and independent living instruction in line with each individual's ISP (Individualized Service Plan)
- Support consumers in developing social, recreational, and functional communication skills
- Administer and document medications and health treatments as required
- Implement behavioral protocols and collect accurate data on behavioral and instructional programs
- Ensure safety through adherence to physical management techniques and universal precautions
- Participate in transportation duties, including maintaining van logs and ensuring safe travel for consumers
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by completing daily cleaning checklists
