What You’ll Do
- Provide educational and behavioral consultation to families, Early Intervention providers, and service agencies
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized curricula and treatment plans
- Design and oversee behavior support plans and data collection systems
- Train, supervise, and support direct teaching staff (ABA Home-Based EI Counselors)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including educators, families, and funding agencies
- Ensure services align with best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Master’s or Doctorate in:
- Child Development
- Special Education
- Developmental Psychology
- Young Child with Special Needs
- Or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
- Must obtain or be eligible to obtain Massachusetts LABA licensure within 90 days of hire
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and minimum age of 21
- Ability to attain approved Melmark driver status
- Successful completion of MA CORI background check
- Completion of employer-provided training, including:
- CPR & First Aid
- Crisis Intervention
- Orientation and New Hire Onsite Training Program
- 2–3 years of experience providing services to young children with ASD
- Strong background in:
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention
- Child development and autism services
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
