Diesel Technician - Melloy Chevrolet (Los Lunas, NM)
Melloy Auto Group is a family-owned dealership serving New Mexico for over 60 years. We’re looking for an experienced diesel technician who can diagnose, repair, and produce in a high-volume shop.
If you’ve got Duramax or heavy-line experience and you’re tired of fighting for work or dealing with a broken process, this is an opportunity to step into a shop that’s busy and built to support you.
You’ll be working on Chevrolet diesel trucks with the tools, equipment, and workflow to stay productive.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines (Duramax and heavy-line work)
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs
- Use factory diagnostic tools and service information
- Follow proper repair procedures and documentation
- Communicate clearly with advisors and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Diesel or automotive technician experience (diesel strongly preferred)
- Strong diagnostic ability (not just parts swapping)
- ASE certifications are a plus or willingness to earn them
- Own tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Consistent work ethic and ability to produce
- Aggressive flat-rate pay based on experience and production
- Consistent workflow with high demand for diesel work
