About M&S Broadway Studios
M&S Broadway Studios is seeking an energetic, creative, and dependable Dance Teacher to join our growing performing arts team serving children and teens ages 5–17.
This is more than a traditional dance teaching position. Our instructors help create an exciting performing arts experience where students develop technique while participating in storytelling, choreography, performances, productions, themed programming, festivals, and special events.
We are looking for a teaching artist who loves working with young people and enjoys bringing creativity, movement, and stories to life.
Schedule & Work Opportunities
The Dance Teacher may have opportunities to work:
- Monday–Thursday in our Broadway Conservatory
- Saturdays during Storybook Discovery Saturdays
- At our Boynton Beach Mall location
- At local schools through after-school partnerships
- At community events and festivals
- During rehearsals, productions, performances, and special programs
Scheduling and hours may vary depending on programming and events.
Responsibilities
- Teach age-appropriate dance technique and movement to children and teens
- Develop choreography for classes, performances, and productions
- Prepare students for rehearsals and live performances
- Assist with auditions, castings, and production preparation
- Incorporate dance and movement into monthly stories and themed programming
- Lead creative movement activities for younger students
- Collaborate with acting, music, and visual arts instructors
- Assist with Stage & Screen projects
- Participate in Saturday Storybook experiences
- Help create interactive, character-based movement experiences
- Participate in festivals, community events, holiday programs, and special performances
- Encourage confidence, creativity, teamwork, and positive participation among students
- Maintain a fun, professional, welcoming, and safe learning environment
Interactive & Character-Based Programming
Our programming is immersive and highly interactive. Dance instructors should be comfortable participating in themed experiences, wearing costumes or themed attire when appropriate, and interacting with students and families as part of special programs and events.

Our season features changing stories, themes, performances, and productions throughout the year.
Programming may include:
- The Storybook Awakens
- Storybook Discovery Saturdays
- Student castings and productions
- Stage & Screen projects
- A Christmas Carol
- Holiday Tree Lighting
- Seasonal performances
- Community festivals
- Special events and interactive experiences
Qualifications
Dance training and/or previous teaching experience is preferred.
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
- Musical theatre/Broadway dance
- Jazz
- Contemporary
- Ballet
- Hip-hop
- Creative movement
- Choreography
- Children’s performing arts
