Registered Sleep Technologist [RPSGT]

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Sleep Technologist to join our expanding sleep medicine practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care, performing accurate sleep studies such as polysomnography (PSG) and Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), and supporting the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Certification as an RPSGT is highly valued. Responsibilities:

• Conduct overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography (PSG) and MSLT, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Monitor patients during sleep studies, promptly addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
• Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information with precision.
• Assist physicians in diagnostic evaluations for sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and other related conditions.
• Support treatment plans by providing respiratory therapy services, including oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation as needed.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of all patient studies, treatments, and observations.
• Adhere strictly to established protocols, policies, and quality standards within sleep medicine.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current with advancements in sleep technology and respiratory therapy.
• Provide training and mentorship to fellow sleep technologists to promote team development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent credential.
• Previous experience in performing or assisting with sleep studies is required.
• Strong knowledge of sleep medicine protocols, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Background in respiratory therapy or related healthcare field is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for accurate documentation.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
