ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chesapeake, VA, for Licensed Therapists (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) and Residents in Counseling. Team members will provide therapeutic services to clients, including diagnostic evaluations, individual and group therapy sessions, and treatment planning. Collaboration with other team members and the coordination of care with external providers will also be important aspects of this role. Additionally, maintaining detailed, accurate client records and actively participating in team meetings, clinical supervision, and professional development activities are fundamental responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, or equivalent. We are especially seeking candidates early in their residency, eligible to begin Board approved residency, or those committed to building and growing with the practice over time. We are also seeking Licensed clinicians with experience providing supervision.
- Active licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW, or completed requirements to serve as a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia
- Knowledge in conducting diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy
- Experience in evidence-based therapy modalities is a plus
- Compassionate, client-focused approach to therapeutic care

- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain organized, accurate, and confidential client records in alignment with clinical and legal standards
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth, including active participation in supervision, training, and ongoing learning

- Take ownership of personal and professional growth, including independently seeking knowledge beyond what is provided

- Present themselves in a professional and appropriate manner. While formal or designer attire is not expected, clinicians are expected to show up in a way that reflects professionalism, intention, and respect for the clients and community we serve

COMPENSATION
- Clinician I: $30–$32 per session
- Clinician II: $33–$35 per session
- Additional compensation: 30% of collected reimbursement for non-standard services
