Melink Solar is a leading commercial solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company specializing in designing and building solar arrays. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of solar installation projects, ensuring they meet schedules, budgets, and client requirements. You will report directly to the Director of Operations and work closely with the rest of the team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Review and approve project budgets before submitting proposals to clients.
  • Draft, review, and deliver AIA Contracts to subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Establish a work plan and staffing strategy for each project phase. Recruit and assign appropriate personnel as

needed.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, assign responsibilities, and clarify

authority.

Project Execution & Monitoring

  • Direct and coordinate project activities to ensure the project progresses on time, stays within budget, and meets

quality standards.

  • Provide monthly forecasts of revenue and costs of goods sold (COGS) based on project schedules.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports to management, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Meet regularly with clients and stakeholders to maintain communication and ensure expectations are met.

Problem-Solving & Technical Support

  • Collaborate with project personnel to offer technical advice and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Ensure project activities align with government regulations and other agencies as needed.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the business development team, project engineers, customers, and

internal/external resources.

Design & Supervision

  • Assist in solar PV system designs if the candidate has an electrical engineering background.
  • Provide on-site supervision as needed to ensure work is completed to project specifications.
  • Up to 25% travel required for project oversight and coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or related software.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Ability to stay flexible and efficient in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to make quick decisions and solve problems while under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • In-depth understanding of engineering, architectural, and construction drawings.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year university, or 3 years of related experience (or a combination of education

and experience).

  • PMP certification or similar preferred.
  • NABCEP certification preferred.
  • Electrical engineering experience is a plus.
  • Solar PV system maintenance or design experience preferred.
  • Comfort with working with high-voltage AC & DC circuitry.
  • Ability to write clear reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive, service-focused attitude.
  • Proven track record of problem-solving in a project-based environment.
  • Strong work ethic, self-accountability, and a commitment to quality.

Proficient in MS Project, Smartsheets, and ERP (Sage) systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to traverse and inspect job sites in various weather conditions, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending,

and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Exposure to typical construction site hazards.
