Role summary
The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth, standardize operations, expanding our presence in new domestic end markets, and supporting international growth through strong channel partner strategies. This executive will lead an integrated sales and marketing organization, aligning go-to-market strategy, brand positioning, and demand generation with the company’s mission and long-term objectives. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of building services and commercial building systems with strong commercial leadership to accelerate our impact “one building at a time.”​

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and own the integrated sales and marketing strategy to achieve meaningful annual revenue growth.​
  • Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing sales and marketing organization, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.​
  • Expand the company’s footprint in new domestic end markets across retail, industrial, government, manufacturing, data, and education sectors.​
  • Strengthen and support international growth through existing channel partners, including joint planning, enablement, and performance management.​
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new domestic and international channel partners to drive sustainable growth in targeted regions.​
  • Build and manage the revenue pipeline, including forecasting, territory planning, and funnel optimization across new business and existing accounts.​
  • Partner closely with operations, product/engineering, and finance to align offerings, pricing, and delivery with market needs and margin goals.​
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and marketing programs that clearly articulate our value in health, energy efficiency, and comfort solutions.​
  • Optimize CRM and sales enablement tools, leaning into AI enablement to drive smarter targeting, forecasting, and sales productivity.​
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic customers and partners, helping secure and grow key accounts.​
Qualifications
  • 10 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, business development, and/or marketing, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.​
  • Proven experience in building services, commercial building systems, commercial real estate, or closely related sectors.​
  • Demonstrated success achieving double-digit revenue growth and expanding into new end markets or segments.​
  • Experience leading and developing teams across sales and marketing functions.​
  • High technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and communicate complex building, energy, and comfort solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.​
  • Strong track record working with channel partners (domestic and/or international), including recruitment, enablement, and performance management.​
  • Proficiency with modern CRM platforms and data-driven sales management practices.​
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence skills.​
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.​
Reporting and location
  • Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO).​
  • Location: Cincinnati, Ohio; hybrid role with a regular presence in the office and flexibility for remote work.​
  • Travel: 30–40% for customer meetings, industry events, and partner visits, including international travel as needed.​
