Inventory/Small Equipment Manager

Mele & Mele & Sons, Inc., a well-established heavy civil construction company serving Western Pennsylvania for over 50 years, is seeking an organized, dependable, and hands-on Inventory / Small Equipment Manager to oversee our inventory of tools, small equipment, and construction supplies.

Responsibilities

· Manage inventory of company-owned tools, small equipment, and consumable supplies.

· Issue and track equipment assigned to employees.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tracking.

· Conduct inventory audits at the shop and job sites.

· Coordinate repairs and maintenance of tools and small equipment.

· Purchase tools, supplies, and rental equipment while controlling costs.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

· Review and approve invoices for equipment purchases, rentals, and repairs.

· Coordinate equipment deliveries with field personnel and the Equipment Manager.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe tool room and inventory area.

· Support employees by ensuring they have the equipment needed to perform their work safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

· 5 years of inventory, warehouse, equipment, or asset management experience, preferably in the construction industry.

· Knowledge of construction tools, small equipment, and materials.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

· Experience with inventory management software is a plus.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Valid driver's license.
