Barista / Café Team Member – Fast-Paced Coffee Shop
Melby’s is a specialty coffee and drink shop built around quality drinks, positive energy, and strong teamwork. We’re currently hiring team members who are upbeat, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment.
We are looking team members who already has barista, café, or food-service experience, or someone who learns quickly and enjoys staying busy throughout their shift.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing espresso drinks, matcha, boba drinks, and pastries with consistency and attention to detail
- Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and ready during busy rushes
- Greeting customers with a positive attitude and making them feel welcome
- Working quickly while still maintaining quality and accuracy
- Supporting teammates during peak hours and helping wherever needed
- Using the POS system and handling transactions correctly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, restaurant, or fast-paced customer service environment preferred
- Friendly personality and someone who naturally smiles and engages with customers
- Fast learner who can stay calm under pressure
- Team-first mindset (someone who helps without being asked)
- Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic
- Someone who sees this as a real job and wants to grow, not just a short-term position
