Role Overview
This position is responsible for booking all company travel including air, hotel, car, rail, and other, for employees, interview candidates, VIPS, customers, and Marketing Executives. (Some international markets may book travel locally.)
Responsibilities
Key Expectations:
- Coordinates travel by interfacing directly with employees, interview candidates, VIPS, customers and Marketing Executives for their travel needs.
- Books airline tickets, hotels, car rentals, etc. using GDS Sabre.
- Usse Sharepoint to manage Travel Requisitions and approvals.
- Uses GET THERE for self-booking with employees and Marketing Executives.
- Coordinates group travel for corporate events such as SELC, Presidents Club, Founders Club, Fast Track, Quest, PartnerUP, Road to Executive Director, and other company-paid travel groups.
- Manages ticket refunds, exchanges, MCO's, PTA's, and other accountable documents.
- Books and manages all Global Travel bookings.
- Is available to all travelers 24 x 7 to assist with travel questions, delays, etc. taking 2 weekends each month as “on-call”.
- Takes extra steps necessary to ensure lowest logical fares and possible booking prices.
- Ensures adherence to all Corporate Travel Policies.
- Works on special projects as assigned.
- Manages agreements and relationships with the booking Master Agency, major Airlines, Hotels, and rental car companies.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements for this Role:
- Demonstrated proficiency with Sabre. (After a period of 6 months)
- A personal interest and passion for travel.
- Business Development training (Panel not required).
- 50 wpm typing.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and professionally.
- Ability to work under stress.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Ability to follow training schedules, both trainer-led and self-guided courses.
- Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
