Overview
The Assistant Brand Manager supports the development and execution of brand strategy for assigned product categories, contributing to initiatives that drive product sales and strengthen category performance. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role assists in shaping the future vision of the brand portfolio and implementing cohesive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
This position works closely with Brand Managers and cross functional teams to support product development, marketing initiatives, and brand building efforts. Responsibilities include contributing across the product lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing optimization, supporting the delivery of innovative, high quality products to the Melaleuca community.
The Assistant Brand Manager supports the analysis of consumer insights, market trends, and business performance to inform decision making and identify growth opportunities. This role also partners with teams across R&D, Operations, Creative, Digital, and Sales to ensure consistent brand execution and a strong consumer experience across all touchpoints.
What You’ll Do
- Support execution of brand strategies and marketing initiatives that drive product sales and strengthen category performance
- Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept through launch and post launch optimization
- Partner with cross functional teams including R&D, Operations, Creative, Digital, and Sales to support product launches and marketing campaigns
- Analyze sales performance, consumer insights, and market trends to support decision making and identify growth opportunities
- Assist in developing product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies
- Support forecasting, business analysis, and performance reporting
- Contribute to product messaging and brand execution across digital, social, and merchandising channels
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the integration of consumer insights and marketing plans into broader business initiatives
- Collaborate with International Marketing, Creative, and Product Development teams on growth initiatives
- Participate in sales meetings and cross functional planning sessions
- Assist in gathering and sharing insights to support alignment across teams
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or related field; internship or agency experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Experience working in cross functional teams preferred
- Interest in consumer packaged goods, wellness, or nutrition categories
