About the Role
The Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator is the heartbeat of our clinic. You’ll be the first friendly face patients meet, the voice that reassures callers, and the organizational force that keeps daily operations running smoothly. This role blends customer service, healthcare admin skills, teamwork, and operational support ideal for someone who takes pride in making an impact.
What You’ll DoPatient Experience & Communication
- Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
- Manage incoming calls, including new patient inquiries
- Respond promptly to emails and patient communications
- Check patients in/out through our EMR system and ensure accurate documentation
Healthcare Administrative Duties
- Verify insurance benefits and secure necessary authorizations
- Understand and navigate insurance terminology
- Schedule appointments and manage daily patient flow
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Updating on tracking tools
Clinical & Operational Support
- Assist PTs and PTAs with non-clinical tasks
- Help the clinic reach monthly goals through coordination and patient engagement
- Manage inventory, maintain organized spaces, and assist in daily operations
- Collaborate with staff to improve workflow, systems, and patient satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare (REQUIRED)
- Knowledge of insurance, authorizations, and healthcare processes
- Strong customer service skills with a patient-first mindset
- Confident multitasker who stays calm and organized
- Experience with EMR systems
- Excellent communication — both written and verbal
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Appreciated!)
- Experience in physical therapy, chiropractic, or outpatient clinics
- Bilingual communication skills
- Sales or customer-service background (helpful for new patient conversions)
