We are seeking a bilingual, experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee operations for our residential and commercial accounts. In this leadership role, you will manage a small team on-site while actively participating in daily field operations. The ideal candidate has strong management skills, a solid background in property maintenance, and specific expertise in tree trimming, irrigation troubleshooting, and comprehensive yard cleanups.
Core Responsibilities
- Crew Leadership: Supervise and motivate a landscaping crew on-site, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
- Specialized Maintenance: Perform professional tree trimming, diagnose and execute irrigation system repairs, and manage intensive seasonal yard cleanups.
- Installation Work: Execute general landscaping projects, including laying pavers and installing synthetic grass (experience in these areas is a strong plus, though not strictly required).
- Communication & Coordination: Act as the primary bilingual bridge on-site, communicating instructions clearly to the crew and interacting professionally with residential and commercial clients in both English and Spanish.
- Vehicle & Equipment Operation: Safely drive the company truck and trailer to multiple work sites daily, ensuring all machinery is properly secured and maintained.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum [2–3 years] of professional landscaping experience with proven experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Technical Skills: Confident expertise in irrigation repairs, tree trimming techniques, and proper use of commercial landscape machinery.
- Driver Requirements: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and feel comfortable driving a company truck with a trailer attached.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs routinely and work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience).
