Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure proper paint adhesion
• Set up and operate hand tools and power tools safely for surface preparation tasks
• Assist with the application of caulking, stucco, plastering, and other finishing materials as needed
• Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to accurately execute surface prep requirement
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment on outdoor and indoor sites

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to surface preparation and building material installation
• Experience with working outdoors and in the painting industry
• Strong understanding of how preping work and using scuffles
• Knowledge of building construction techniques including remodeling, hardscape installation
• Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating effectively with team members
