Duties

• Assist with assembly line operations, including mechanical assembly and the use of hand tools and power tools to build components accurately.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials within the facility.
• Measure parts and materials using precision measuring instruments to ensure specifications are met.
• Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents to support production tasks effectively.
• Perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to transport raw materials and finished products.
• Support process improvement initiatives by adhering to lean manufacturing principles and safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing environment, following safety standards at all times.

Experience

• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable, especially in roles involving assembly line work or mechanical tasks.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, production documents, and using measuring instruments is essential.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and warehouse equipment will set you up for success.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing practices and safety protocol adherence.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with mechanical assembly is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage manual handling tasks efficiently.
• Previous experience managing production or assembly teams is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for teamwork and continuous learning is essential.

Pay: $23.53 - $28.34 per hour
