Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications
- Install ductwork according to blueprints and SMACNA standards.
- Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to accurately assemble and install equipment
- Collaborate with project managers and property owners to ensure installations meet safety standards and customer expectations.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation in commercial settings
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical systems and mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of EPA regulations related to refrigerants (EPA certification required) and safe handling of refrigerants such as ammonia is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for local travel between job sites
