About The Role
Join our dynamic plaintiff personal injury legal team as a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal at our Hackensack, NJ office! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Plaintiff's Personal Injury cases and be familiar with the legal procedures in New Jersey. The paralegal will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases. This position will be based full-time in office.

Salary Range: $29-$36/hour

About The Role
Join our dynamic plaintiff personal injury legal team as a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal at our Hackensack, NJ office! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Plaintiff's Personal Injury cases and be familiar with the legal procedures in New Jersey. The paralegal will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases. This position will be based full-time in office.
You Will:
- Conduct initial client interviews and gather relevant case information while maintaining clear and organized client files
- Open No-Fault and Bodily Injury Claims and process related applications and letters of representation
- Order and review medical records and other relevant documents and summarize them for attorney review
- Coordinate and monitor client treatment
- Perform pre-litigation investigations (OPRA requests; surveillance notices; etc)
- Submit lien inquiries and obtain final lien amounts
- Draft Settlement Demand packages
- Assist attorneys with Pre-litigation settlement procedures
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Plaintiff's Personal Injury Paralegal in New Jersey
- Strong understanding of personal injury case procedures for motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, animal bite/attacks, and other negligence cases
- Experience resolving liens/patient balances
- Spanish-speaking
