Automotive Technician

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Repair or replace defective components in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to restore equipment functionality promptly.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment performance data.
• Conduct welding (including welding) and precision measurements to ensure proper alignment and safety standards are met.
• Read electrical blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting electrical systems and programming logic controllers (PLCs).
• Support field service activities by diagnosing issues on-site at various manufacturing locations and providing technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with strong industrial mechanic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and electrical blueprint reading.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, high voltage electrical systems, and low voltage controls.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatic systems troubleshooting, equipment repair, welding (including welding), and industrial maintenance practices.
• Strong analysis skills coupled with customer service orientation when supporting internal teams or external clients.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings accurately.
• Relevant certifications or experience in industrial electrician work or military technical roles is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $45.00 per hour
